Curious about what we’ve been up to around here?
Abigail accidentally stepped on a SCORPION. Ouch!!! (Going barefoot is still worth it.) Thankfully she’s better now.
Silas had a BIRTHDAY! He chose to make Stromboli and Honey Pecan Cheesecake for the special meal. We love baking around here!
If you MISSED our song that aired on KY3 TV, check it out here! https://youtu.be/XcgcgHBOinc Enjoy our newest YouTube video!
Have you ever WONDERED what it is like behind the scenes on a MUSIC VIDEO shoot? HINT: There's always LOTS of carrying/hiking in fancy clothes and high heels... PLUS, add slippery slopes, steep hills, ticks, stream crossings with expensive instruments while balancing on rocks, and unknown weather conditions! https://youtu.be/XcgcgHBOinc
Karen and Abigail are gearing up for their student’s big recital! The two of them are kept busy with teaching dozens of students, finding fun ways for the kids to learn, and making music a rewarding experience! Right now, the students are doing a practice challenge leading up to the recital and are super excited!
We went to a PARTY at the Boardgame Café in Branson! We had an incredible time playing games with friends after our show. They've got 1,000+ boardgames of any type for any group or couple + sandwiches, drinks, candy, and more.
We siblings SURPRISED Mom with a family party on Mother’s Day! Using china from our GREAT-GREAT-GRAND-AUNT, we had a tea party! For those wondering about the menu, Mom loves tea, chocolate and homemade Sour Cream Raisin Bars. We also made Chicken Cordon Bleu, salad, and more.
He is BACK! Seth is home from college and has graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering!!! Summa Cum Laude! We played disc golf (one of his favorite games) to celebrate.
Our show is OPEN now at the Americana Theatre!!! We can’t be more excited to be performing again! Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 2:00 PM. “The theatre is following the social distancing guidelines with carefully spaced seating, cleaning and sanitizing often, and working hard to make your visit to the theatre happy, healthy, and uplifting. We look forward to seeing you again soon and can hardly wait to bring joy and encouragement into your life during this season through music and song!” Call 417-544-8700 for tickets or visit https://www.thejohnsonstrings.com/
Lastly, we are working on finding the PERFECT locations for several new music videos (SO EXCITED!) and our CD project is nearing completion! Then it will be time to do the cover shoot and send it off to production!
How have all of you been? Is life getting back to normal for you?
We are all looking forward to seeing you again soon!
Love,
The Johnson Strings Family
