Wow, 12 years of NIJO (Northern Iowa Junior Orchestra) on the books! Way back in 2002, Laura was the first Johnson to join the orchestra when she auditioned in 5th grade. Since then all 6 of us siblings have performed in it, with Silas finishing his final year this spring! Thank you so much, Tom Schilke (and Cathy Craig!), for all the hundreds of hours you have invested in our lives over the years - we all had a great time while we were in NIJO!
